I have a dream of being a UI Designer or Mobile Designer. Having a multitude of skills ranging from traditional art to current day media, along with a passion for new technology and programming. I have a wide variety of skills from design, photography, video and many more. I have developed a love for the the process and detailed involvement in development. Driven by my interest in digital design, I have found a passion in UI. Hoping to take my previously skills to create unique and creative designs. Looking into the future, I hope to possibly work with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
Pushing my passion, I look to lead in developing new designs in the industry by mixing my passion in visual design, (the gaming element in certain projects!) and creativity.
Learning design was one of my main goals in school, I found my passion when there was a game called "League of Legends". While I didn't know there was a career attached to creating UI designs, I found it so fascinating what changes they were making. The game had a major overhaul in their UI design, going from an old and visually busy design to a modern and straightforward design. From branding to small tweaks in font size to the way they changed eye movements and information display, it wasn't until much later did I realize how important such details were.
Having seen how vital UI design is to user experience and efficiency, I aim to create designs as life changing and inspiring as what inspired me.
I started off working as a videographer for events and projects, later getting a job as an editor at an event photography studio while also doing photography on the side. I started off having this passion as a child when I was always carrying a little digital camera, later moving on to a DSLR. Along with the wonderful guidance of my high school media teacher I found a career in a hobby. Trying a multitude of crafts from animation to audio editing to 3D modeling, I found myself drawn towards how technology has created fantastic methods of expression and storytelling. I also have a small background in programming. Having worked with Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP to create a variety of projects. With all the new methods being developed and uncharted territory of VR and AR on the horizon, I am excited for the future and what media will represent along with all the methods used.
